Tule Wind Power Project
Californians are leading the way to combat climate change by investing in clean, renewable energy sources. Wind energy is key to meeting the state’s renewable energy standards and helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions throughout California. The McCain Valley in eastern San Diego County is a wind-rich area — one of the few places in the County that can support the development of wind energy. Iberdrola Renewables, LLC would like to be part of San Diego County’s green energy future and is proposing the Tule Wind Power Project. Now the County of San Diego will soon be deciding whether wind energy is welcome in San Diego.
In the meantime, your support and voice during the approval process is essential. Please visit our Action Alert page to send a letter of support for our plan to create clean, reliable energy for San Diego County. Check back here for dates on upcoming hearings to learn how else you can help.
