Wind Business Overview

Iberdrola Renewables is the second-largest developer of wind projects in the U.S.

Iberdrola Renewables is a subsidiary of AvanGrid (NYSE: AGR) and the U.S. renewable energy division of parent company IBERDROLA, S.A., an energy pioneer with the largest renewable asset base of any company in the world — more than 14,000 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy spread across a dozen countries. Iberdrola Renewables is headquartered in Portland, Ore., and has more than $10 billion of operating assets totaling more than 6,000 MW of owned and controlled wind and solar generation in the U.S.

Iberdrola Renewables is involved in all phases of wind development — metrological prospecting, wildlife and environmental assessments, permitting, forging agreements with communities and individual landowners, overseeing project construction, managing daily wind farm operations and marketing the power produced.

We pride ourselves on responsibly developing projects that promote economic development and environmental sustainability in the communities where we work. Iberdrola Renewables is committed to building and operating responsible energy projects that benefit the local community and future generations.
